About Us
Active Leisure Centre is a health and fitness club that provides gym facilities & programs, group fitness classes, swimming & swimming lessons, as well as a broad range of indoor & outdoor sporting activities to the Canberra community.
Together with Erindale College, Erindale Theatre, Erindale Community Education Program and Erindale Library - Active Leisure Centre is part of the Erindale Education and Recreation Complex (EERC). A community focused organisation, the EERC boasts a wide variety of programs and services that cater for adults and children of all ages.

Facility hire is available to both individuals and organisations on a casual or semi-permanent basis. Facilities include:
- 2 Group Fitness Studios - perfect for dance or martial arts classes
- 25m heated indoor pool and steam room
- Tennis and Squash Courts
- Multi-purpose Sports Hall - catering for badminton, basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer
- 80 seat Theatrette
- Private group training facility - for a sporting team's strength and conditioning needs
- 436 seat capacity professional Theatre
- Function room with capacity for up to 70 people featuring a projector and kitchenette
All facilities are available for casual and permanent hire.
